Ruth Miller, age 80, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 8:54 AM Saturday, May 11, 2019, at her home.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, May 17 at the Honey Cemetery in Bogota, Illinois. Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois. The obituary can be viewed and condolences left by clicking here.
Ruth was born on January 2, 1939, in South Muddy Township, Jasper County, Illinois, the daughter of Claude F. and Naomi (Watson) Fuson. She married Richard L. “Dick” Miller on January 8, 1966, in Newton, Illinois, and he survives. Ruth worked at UTA in Newton for several years. She was a member of the Newton Free Methodist Church.
Ruth is survived by: Husband of 53 years – Dick Miller of Newton, Illinois; Niece – Debra Fuson of Newton, Illinois; Great Niece – Lea Ann Fuson of Effingham, Illinois; Great Great Nephew – Bryan Fuson of Mattoon, Illinois; Great Great Niece – Melissa Ryland of Kansas City, Kansas; Great Great Great Nieces – Ashlyn Ryland and Carmen Ryland.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, brother Albert Fuson and sister June Fuson.
