Twila J. Yates, 52, of Charleston, Illinois passed away at 1:07 P.M. Friday, March 8, 2019, in Carle Foundation Hospital of Urbana, Illinois.
She was born September 17, 1966, in Monmouth, Illinois, the daughter of Edward L. and Diana M. (McNamee) Sears. Twila loved living her passion of being Registered Nurse at the Odd Fellow-Rebekah Home in Mattoon, Illinois. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Effingham, Illinois.
She leaves her Fiancé, Riann Russell of Charleston, Illinois; Sons, Adam Karnes (Teri) of Effingham, Illinois and Brian Smith of Charleston, Illinois; Daughters, Shawna Hammond (Devon Herold) of Des Moines, Iowa, Donell Daily (Stephen) of Arthur, Illinois, Jacquelane Unkraut (Cordell) of St. Elmo, Illinois and Geniffer Kamplain-Bridges of Sacramento, California; Sister, Theresa Sears; eight grandchildren; niece, Kayla Buenerkemper of Murrieta, CA; nephew, Ryan Buenerkemper of Effingham, Illinois; great-nieces, Aubree and Ariana Dixon and great-nephew, Kameron Dixon all of Murrieta, CA.
Twila was preceded in death by, her parents; one daughter, Emily Strong; one son, Nathaniel Karnes-Yates.

A Celebration of Twila's life will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 14 in the Swengel - O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
