Ronnie Greeson (68) of Toledo

Ronnie Golden Greeson, 68, of Toledo, IL beloved brother of Suzanne (Greeson) Cummings passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Eastview Terrace Nursing Center in Sullivan, IL.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday February 7 at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo, IL. Visitation will be from 12:00 to service time on Thursday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Toledo Cemetery.
Ronnie was born on July 7, 1950 in Mattoon, IL to Golden and Mary (Todd) Greeson.
He is survived by a sister Suzanne (Ron) Cummings of Moweaqua, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ronnie grew up working on the family farm. In his youth he was active in Cumberland County 4H winning several awards for his projects. He had quite a collection of hats and die-cast farm machinery that he was very proud of. Ronnie was a 20 plus year member of the Toledo Volunteers formerly Kiwanis. He enjoyed selling tickets for Pancake Day and was always a top seller. He ran errands for the Pup Stand and was the official “Taste Tester”. Ronnie loved the Chicago Cubs and he was always wearing something Cubs. So please come dressed in your Cubs gear.
