Sheryl L. Brazle, 73, of Brownstown, died at 3:07 p.m. Thursday, November 22, 2018 at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital, Effingham.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 25 at Gieseking Funeral home, Brownstown with Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery, rural Brownstown. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Saturday and for one hour prior to service time on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Brownstown Building Fund or the donor’s choice.
Sheryl was born on Monday, September 17, 1945 in St. Elmo to Hubert and Beulah (Schaub) Brazle. She was a member of the First Christian Church Brownstown. She was employed for many years at Fayette County Hospital and had also been employed at the Vandalia Police Department and YMCA.
She is survived by her sister Susan (Terry) Smith, Brownstown, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Bessie.
