Cheryl "Cheri" Hardwick (71) of Effingham

Cheri Hardwick, 71 of Effingham, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 16 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with visitation being held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening. Memorials may be given to the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be expressed by clicking here.
Cheri was born August 23, 1947 in Salem, Oregon, the daughter of Jack and Betty (Davis) Mennis. She was the owner and operator of Pizza Man in Effingham for many years. Cheri was a member of the Effingham Post #120 Legion Auxiliary and the Effingham Moose Lodge. She enjoyed bowling, traveling and spending time with her family. Cheri gave the greatest gift in becoming an organ and tissue donor.
Cheri is survived by her daughter, Mary C. (Ryan) Banning of Effingham; sister, Rebecca (Sam) Sneed of Midland, TX; three grandchildren Marcus, Morgan and Mackenzie Banning.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Michael Williams.
