Mark Andrew Moeller, 58 of Pana, Illinois passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 in his home.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 10 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10 a.m. with Pastor Steve Nance officiating. Burial will be in Rosemond Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 9 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Pana High School Athletic Fund for the football team and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home, who assisted the family.

Moeller was born April 4, 1960 in Antioch to Earl M. and Marilyn (Hammer) Moeller. He married Nancy McLeod March 6, 1997 in Paducah, KY and she survives in Pana. Mark was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pana and worked at the rock quarry where he was capable of doing any job that was given to him. He was known to be an amazing artist, drawing, painting and making designs for custom printed T-shirts. He liked to watch sprint cars and late model race on dirt tracks, participating in tractor pulls, working on motors of all kinds, and Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Having grown up showing cattle, he developed a great love for animals. In his leisure time, Mark enjoyed fishing and hanging out with family and friends. He loved to laugh, have a good time and always had a story.

Along with his wife, Mark is survived by his children: Brandon (Candi) Moeller of TN, Andrea (Craig) Coartney of Westfield, Seth (Tiffany) Moeller of Shelbyville, Nathan Hanger (Fiancée Kayla Matthews) of Vandalia, Chelsea Hanger (significant other Chris Marquardt) of Springfield, Drew Hanger, Taylor Moeller, Tucker Moeller all of Pana; grandchildren: Adrianne Moeller, Kerigan Moeller, Ellie Moeller, Natalie Coartney, Ty Coartney, Claire Coartney, Callen Hanger, Cashlyn Hanger, Brody Matthews, Jackson Hanger, Quinalynn Hanger; siblings: Nancy (Randy) Ashcraft of Pana, Stanley Moeller, Steve (Nancy) Moeller, Lisa (Bill) Brackney, David (Angie) Moeller all of Effingham and Stacia Rose of Alamont; mother Marilyn Moeller of Effingham; and mother-in-law Rosalie McLeod of Pana.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Dennis Moeller, in infancy.
