James N. “Jim” Conder, 60, of Effingham, IL, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 8, 2018.

A memorial visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, September 15 at Johnson Funeral Home, 1110 N. Fourth Street, Effingham, IL.

James was born on April 19, 1958, in Louisville, KY, the son of Murl Anthony “Tony” and Mary (Garr) Conder. He was united in marriage to Sheryl Scott and to this union were born three children: James Neil Jr., Nicholas Scott, and Jenna Noel. Jim had a love and passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and cars. He was employed at Legacy-Harley Davidson in the parts department. He was also in the printing industry most of his life. Family was important to him. Jim loved his children dearly and was always proud of them.

Jim is survived by his children, Neil (Sarah) Conder of Monroe, OH, Nick (Laurie) Conder of West Chester, OH, and Jenna (Kevin) Scheuerman of Mason, OH; parents, Tony and Mary Conder of Effingham; grandchildren, Israel, Cobey, Taylor, Emma, Liliana, Eli, Caden, Owen, Logan, and Colson; brothers, Steve Conder, Drew Conder, and Joe (Sherri) Conder, all of Effingham; sister, Angie (Allyn) Koester of Effingham; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael A. Conder.
