Jeremy R. Voris, 44, of Windsor, IL passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 22 at Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor with Pastor Dave Dolan and Pastor Rena Whitcher officiating. Burial will take place in Windsor Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00–8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wedndesday. Memorials may be made to the Windsor Fire Department or to the family.

Jeremy was born July 3, 1974, in Shelbyville, the son of Linn and Linda (Daniels) Voris. He was a graduate of Windsor High School in the Class of 1992. Jeremy and Ashley Painter were married on October 12, 2013. He worked for Luv-It Construction and was a member of New Life Church in Sullivan and the Sons of the American Legion. He was a former Windsor City Councilman, paramedic for the Windsor Area Ambulance Service and former fireman for the Windsor Fire Department. Jeremy was a giving person, donating to the organ bank at the time of his death, an avid Cubs fan, enjoyed the outdoors and cherished time spent with family.

He is survived by his wife, Ashley; children: Jordan and Bailey Voris; parents, Linn and Linda Voris; brother, Derrick (Amber) Voris; nephews: Patton and Emery Voris all of Windsor; mother-in-law, Denise Tabbert of Findlay; father-in-law, Harlow Painter of Mode; brother-in-law, Mike Painter of Stewardson; grandparents-in-law, Darrell and Sharon Tabbert of Windsor; special family friends, Mia Lovett, Parker Marquez and Addie Demers and several uncles, aunt and cousins.

Preceding him in death were his maternal and paternal grandparents.
