Carolynn Grunloh, 75, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018, at Lakeland Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Effingham.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 31 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery in Effingham. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday prior to the services at the funeral home.

Carolynn was born on November 26, 1942, in Paxton, IL, the daughter of Richard and Violet (Noland) Carlson. She was united in marriage to Larry Grunloh on June 21, 1969, and to this union were born two children, Brian and Shanna.
Carolynn retired from Crossroads Printing Company after many years. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Carolynn enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her pets.
Carolynn is survived by her son, Brian Grunloh of Altamont; daughter, Shanna (Scott) Matteson of Dieterich; grandchildren, Braden and Brianna Grunloh of Altamont; sister, Bonnie (Ed) McBride of Rowlett, TX; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Kristen; and former husband, Larry Grunloh.
