Tom McGee (87) of St. Charles, Mo., formerly of Louisville, Illinois, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, July 24 at 7 p.m. at St. Louis Christian College. Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. at St. Louis Christian College. Interment will be in Old Union Cemetery, near Hord Wednesday, July 25 at 11 a.m. Baue Funeral Homes and Crematory is in charge. Memorial contributions may be made in Tom's honor to St. Louis Christian College.
McGee was born October 12, 1930 in Louisviille, Illinois, the son of Roy and Lenore McGee. He married Wilma Jean and she preceded him in death. He was the third president of St. Louis Christian College. He recently pastored Christview Christian Church, St.Charles. he enjoyed farming, gardening, camping and refinishing antiques. Most importantly, he loved bringing people to Jesus. Tom was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
McGee leaves daughters, Alice (husband Robert) Perrey and Cheryl (husband Steve) Wood and son, Charlie (wife Vicki) McGee; grandchildren, Christopher (wife Christine) Perrey, Phillip (wife Lindsey) Perrey, Amy (husband B.J.) Jones, Julie (husband Will) Steinbeck, Kerri (husband Eric) Ankenman, Chris McGee, Zack McGee, Corianne (husband David) Thackrey, Katie Wood and Jack Wood; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Wilma (husband) Nelson Grote, Doris (husband Tom) Armoud and brother, Joe (wife Nancy) McGee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Wilma Jean and grandchildren, Bridget, Erin and Craig McGee.
