Donald R. Warner, 78, of Greenup, IL passed away at 11:49 AM Saturday, July 7, 2018 in Greenup.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 22 at the Greenup Cemetery with Military Rites being conducted by Cumberland County Veterans. The Barkley Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Don was born on January 12, 1940 the son of Clyde and Donna (Easton) Warner. He married Ethel Faye Houser in July of 1986 and she preceded him in March of 2011.

He is survived by sons John (Teri) Warner of Greenup and Bobby (Bridget) Adamson of Greenup; daughters Nancy and Stephanie Warner of California; grandchildren Kelsey, John, Brooke, Story, and Joe Warner, Trenten Adamson, Branden (Mara) Adamson, Lucinda Adamson, John and Jason Hawes, and Kristi Parkinson; and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Bonnie Brandenburg, Judy Lewis, and Norma Stewart.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; son Chip Guy Adamson; daughter Kandice Highfill; brothers Carl, Ivan, and Leland Warner; and sister Bernice Walsh.

Don served his country in the Airforce and was a member of the Greenup American Legion. Don was a welder for Blaw Knox for 20 plus years. In his spare time Don enjoyed hunting mushrooms in the spring and fishing.
