Leila E. Dippold, age 83, of Centralia, formerly of Salem and Farina, died Monday, May 14, 2018 at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia.

She was a homemaker and farmer's wife, a member of the Salem Lutheran Church, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, Farina American Legion Auxiliary, and Farina GFWC Illinois Women's Club.

Funeral services for Leila Dippold will be held at ten Saturday morning at the Salem Lutheran Church, with Doug Meyer officiating. Burial in the Farina Cemetery. Visitation will be from five to eight Friday evening at the Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home in Salem. Memorials may be made to the Salem Lutheran Church or the Lutheran Women's Missionary League and may be left at the Rogers Atkins Funeral Home in Salem.

Leila Dippold is survived by her sons: Gary Dippold and wife Cindy of Farina; Allen Dippold and wife Nancy of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; daughters: Dawn Zweiger and husband Terry of Mason City; Deana Nypan and husband Ron of Cushing, Minnesota; brothers: Marvin Torbeck and wife Jean of Odin and Jerald Torbeck and wife Carolyn of Vandalia.

Leila Dippold was born on January 18, 1935, at Arlington Heights to Ben and Bertha (Quandt) Torbeck. She married Oscar Dippold on September 4th, 1952. He preceded her in death on September 11, 2004. She was also preceded by her parents and sister: Mildred Torbeck.
