William "Bill" Morrow, 85, of Punta Gorda, Florida, formerly of Effingham, died on February 22, 2018.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 27 at 10:30am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shumway with burial in the church cemetery.
Those grateful for having shared his life include his wife Dolores, his children, Kay (Tim) Ferchow, Bill (Theresa) Morrow and Colleen Morrow. He will also be fondly remembered by his 5 grandchildren, Miles, Cole, Taylor, Kyle and Paige, his great-grandchild, Kennedy Rae and his brother, Dan (Carol) Morrow.
Bill was born November 7, 1932 in Wagner, SD, married Dolores Peterson on June 1, 1955, raised his family in Effingham, IL and retired from Ameren (Central Illinois Public Service) in 1993. Dolores and Bill spent their retirement years in Punta Gorda, FL.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Bertha, sisters Donna, Jean, and Monica and brothers Chuck, Bob, and Tom and infant son James William.
