Phyllis Ann Rudolphi, 68, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 10:30 AM – Friday, April 20, 2018, at Evergreen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Effingham, Illinois.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Phyllis will be held at 11:00 AM – Monday, April 30, at the Frist Baptist Church in Newton, Illinois, with Rev. Stephen Willis officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Ste. Marie, Illinois. Visitation will held 1 hour before the service. Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois.

Phyllis was born on August 2, 1949, in Newton, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Ruby (Utley) Frauli. She married Henry George “Hank” Rudolphi on February 12, 1972, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Ste. Marie, Illinois, and he preceded her in death on September 19, 2013. Phyllis graduated from Newton Community High School in 1967, and worked at United Technologies in Newton for 23 years. Phyllis was a member of the First Baptist Church in Newton, Illinois, and the ladies auxiliary of the Newton VFW Post #7537. She enjoyed bowling, reading and doing crafts.

Phyllis is survived by: Siblings – Donald (Denise) Frauli of Garland, Texas; Janet (Robert) Rea of West Branch, Michigan; John (Holly) Frauli of Dwight, Illinois; George Frauli of Edinburg, Illinois and Tom (Cindy) Frauli of Effingham, Illinois; Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers Jim and Charles Frauli.
