Tasha D. Hames, 37, of Mulberry Grove, died at 5:22 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2018 at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis after a short illness.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 6 at Gieseking-Claggett Funeral Home, Brownstown with Rev. Bill Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Pilcher Cemetery, rural Brownstown. Visitation will be from Noon until service time. Memorials may be made to the family.

Tasha Dawn Hames was born on Sunday, November 2, 1980 in Effingham, IL to Richard and Jeannie (Hissong) Hames. She was employed with Greenville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Greenville as a registered nurse.

She is survived by: her long-time companion, Denver Brewer, Mulberry Grove; daughter, Kaitlin Brewer, Mulberry Grove; stepson, Denver James Brewer, Paris; parents, Rick and Jeannie Hames, Alma; brothers, Morse (Emily) Hames, St. Elmo, Rio Hames, Alma, and Rick (Maranatha) Cripe, Florida; maternal grandmother, Alberta Clymer, St. Elmo; many nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Gilbert Hissong and paternal grandparents, Frank and Marge Hames.
