Jacquelin J. “Jackie” (Knearem) Storm, 69, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018 in St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, IL.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, March 19, 2018 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL, with Rev. Michael Mohr officiating.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m on Monday.   Burial will be at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Strasburg, IL.  Memorials may be given to Cancer Center Specialists of Central Illinois for Patient Care.

Jackie was born on January 3, 1949 in Shelbyville, Illinois, the daughter of Don R. and Lois R. (Doty) Knearem.  She graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1967. She worked in quality control for International Paper in Shelbyville until her retirement and previously worked for Lithia Springs Marina on Lake Shelbyville.   

Jackie loved horses and was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association.  She was also a member of Strasburg American Legion Auxiliary Liberty Unit #289.   

Jackie married Larry L. Storm on September 16, 1991. She is survived by her husband, Larry; daughter, Rhonda Ator (Doug) of Dallas, TX; step-son, Bruce Storm, AL; grandchildren, Corey Ator of Garland, TX, Dylan Ator of Fayetteville, AR, and Brittany Ator of Portland, OR; brothers, Stan Knearem (Marilou) of  Cowden, IL, Ken Knearem (Anita) of Tower Hill, IL, Dennis Knearem of Houston, TX, Dale Knearem (Nancy) of Mattoon, IL and William “Mac” McGinness (Dawn) of Mattoon, IL; sisters, Donna Humphrey of Dewey, IL and Rose Walker (Larry) of Shelbyville, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Chad Daniels; step-father, Richard McGinness; and brother, Dirk Knearem.
