William "Bill" Morrow (85) of Punta Gorda, Florida, formerly of Effingham

It is with great sadness that the family of William "Bill" Morrow announce his passing on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the age of 85 years young.
Those grateful for having shared his life include his wife Dolores, his children, Kay (Tim) Ferchow, Bill (Theresa) Morrow and Colleen Morrow. He will also be fondly remembered by his 5 grandchildren, Miles, Cole, Taylor, Kyle and Paige, his great-grandchild, Kennedy Rae and his brother, Dan (Carol) Morrow.
Bill was born November 7, 1932 in Wagner, SD, married Dolores Peterson on June 1, 1955, raised his family in Effingham, IL and retired from Ameren (Central Illinois Public Service) in 1993. Dolores and Bill spent their retirement years in Punta Gorda, FL.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Bertha, sisters Donna, Jean, and Monica and brothers Chuck, Bob, and Tom and infant son James William.
Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, March 1 at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Punta Gorda. Memorials preferred to Tidewell Hospice, 1144 Veronica St. Port Charlotte, Florida 33952 or the American Heart Association.
