Myrta Bell “Tootsie” Shobe, 94, of rural Toledo, IL passed away at 9:06 AM on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Cumberland Rehab & Health Care Center in Greenup, IL.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday February 2 at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday evening at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Bell Cemetery rural Greenup. Memorials can be made to the Cumberland Rehab Ladies Auxiliary Fund c/o Barkley Funeral Chapel Box 381 Greenup, IL 62428.

Tootsie was born on December 26, 1923 in Greenup, IL to Ora & Lou (Blantern) Jones. She married Leland Ralph Shobe Sr. on December 25, 1944 and he preceded her in death in 2008.

Surviving are sons Larry Shobe of Charleston, IL, Gary Shobe of Greenup, Leland Ralph Shobe Jr. of California and Loren (wife Sharon) Shobe of Toledo; Five Grandchildren Stacey James, Jeri Shobe, Shanna (husband Mark) Runge, Amanda (husband Damon) Zucco and Lee (wife Michelle) Shobe; Nine Great-Grandchildren Shae (husband Nick) Zumbahlen, Morgan James, Levi Robinson, Alex Robinson, Hannah Zucco, Micah Zucco, Beau Zucco, Jessi Shobe and Colton Shobe; Two Great-Great Grandchildren Zane and Arthur.

Tootsie was preceded in death by her Father Ora Jones and Mother Lou Titus; a Brother Ziba Jones; Sisters Dorothy Heavens, Blanche Carroll, Ruby Sims and Mary Hall.

Tootsie was a homemaker and a member of the Clear Creek Church.
