Jackie E.  Streeper-Green, 59, of rural Trilla, Illinois, passed away Saturday morning, January 20, 2018, at Richton Park, IL.

A Celebration of her life will held at 10:00 A. M. Friday, January 26 in the Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, IL with the Rev. Adam McReynolds of Trilla, IL officiating. Visitation for family will be held from 4:00 P.M., to 8:00 P.M. Thursday. Burial will be in the Beals Cemetery in Trilla, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Beals Cemetery in care Swengel - O'Dell Funeral Home.

Jackie was born November 2, 1958, in Bloomington, Illinois. She was the daughter of Jack and Virginia (Ihlenfeldt) Streeper. She married James M. Green, July 9, 1982, in Lincoln, IL. Jackie retired from teaching at Arcola School District. She volunteered for Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Relay For Life Survivor - Committee Chair, Drama Club Coach at Arcola, was a member of the Retired Teachers Assoc., Delta Kappa Gamma - Communications Chair, Asst. Girl Scout Leader and taught Upward Bound. Jackie had a passion for helping and teaching others, deeply treasured her grandchildren and she loved to travel and seek new adventures.

Jackie leaves her husband, James M. Green of rural Trilla, Il; son, Joshua Green and wife Heather of Sullivan, IL; daughter, Jessica Sergeev of Carbondale, IL; mother Virginia Streeper of Hudson, IL; sister, Jane Sinnott and husband Rich of Ballwin, MO; four grandchildren; Hailey Green, Lily Green, Shelby Green and Ivan Sergeev; Mother in-law, Barbara Green of Trilla, IL.

Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Father-in-law, Lawrence "Bud " Green and a son-in-law, Ivan Sergeev.
