Charles Lowell Clark, 85, of Greenup, IL passed away at 3:25 AM Monday, January 15, 2018 at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday January 20 at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday evening at the funeral chapel. Burial with Military Rites by Cumberland County Veterans will be in the Greenup Cemetery. Memorials can be made to either the Woodbury UMC or to the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight 57 Country Place Springfield, IL 62703.

Charlie was born on December 26, 1932 in Jewett, IL the son Hugh and Fern (Anderson) Clark. He married Clara Jo Sherrick on August 14, 1955.

Surviving is his loving wife; Daughter Gail (husband Ed) Wampler of Greenup; Son Rodney (wife Lynn) of Mt. Vernon, IN; Grandchildren Laura (husband Justin) Roley; Lee (wife Alyssa) Wampler, Andrew (Fiancé Alexa Dardes) Clark, Reilly Clark and Michael Clark; Great Grandchildren Davis Roley and Madeleine Wampler; Brother Don (wife Ellen) Clark of Jewett; Brother in law Jerry Holsapple of Greenup: Sister in law Betty Clark of Beecher City.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; Brother Max Clark; Sisters Vera  (husband Glen) Kibler and Maxine Holsapple.

Charlie was a licensed Plumber and Electrician and Owner of Toledo Plumbing and Heating in Toledo for 25 years, He served his country in the Army and was a member of the Woodbury UMC; He was a member the Cumberland County Board for 14 years. He and Clara Jo enjoyed spending 17 winters in Sebring, FL and he looked forward in the summertime to the Cumberland County Fair.
