Kathryn P. Wesselman, 99, passed away Wednesday morning, December 27, 2017 at her home in Teutopolis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 30 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the church with a 6:30 p.m. parish prayer service. Memorial donations may be given to the donor’s choice.

Kathryn was born November 21, 1918, the daughter of Frank and Catherine (Schneiderjan) Kortte. She married Clem R. Wesselman on July 16, 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1979. Kathryn was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis.

Kathryn is survived by her two sons, Donald of Teutopolis and Bernard (Cathy) of Effingham; daughter, Nancy Wesselman of Chesterfield, MO; grandchildren, Jared (April) Wesselman of Mooresville, NC, Donald Guevara of Chesterfield, MO and Eric Wesselman of Denver, CO; great-grandchildren, Annabelle and Colin Wesselman.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Lawrence; siblings, Rose Dust, John Kortte, Helen Haarmann, Veronica Hartl, Henry Kortte, Anna Wesselman, Frank Kortte, Agnes Kortte, Elizabeth “Betty” Runde and Joseph Kortte.
