Paul C. Vincent, 83, of Mattoon, Illinois formerly of Charleston and Toledo, Illinois passed away at 1:50 P.M., Sunday, December 3, 2017, in the Odd Fellow Rebecca Home of Mattoon, Illinois.

Paul was born August 31, 1934, in LaClede, IL, the son of Howard C. and Cora E. (Randall) Vincent. He married Marlene L. Baugh May 5, 1954 in Mattoon, IL and Mrs. Vincent passed away March 27, 2017.

Memorial services will be held for Paul and Marlene will be held at 6:00 P.M. Saturday, December 9 in the Free Methodist Church of Neoga with the Rev. Steve Massengill officiating.

Paul worked in the Maintenance Department for the Cumberland School District for ten years, was a retired farmer, he also drove a bread truck, and he owned and operated The Homestead Press of Toledo, IL. Paul and Marlene were Campground Hosts at Fox Ridge State Park near Charleston, IL. He was a member of the Mattoon Camera Club. He and Marlene enjoyed traveling and the camping life.

Paul leaves two sons, Frank "Bub" Vincent (Kimberly) and  Howard Vincent all of Mattoon, IL; five daughters, Paula Niemeyer (Steve) of Teutopolis, IL, Peggy Scherrinsky (Todd) of Toledo, IL, Mary Ann Shadow  of Mattoon, IL, Tracy Roberts (Jack) of Joelton, TN and Teresa Bierman (Charles) Watson, IL; twenty-six grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

Mr. Vincent was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marlene L. Vincent; one grandson and one great granddaughter.
