Sherry was born in Shelbyville on September 16, 1943, the second child of Lester and Irma (Anderson) Sarver. She married Ronald Buzzard on July 3, 1963 in Cowden, Illinois. Sherry was a partner to Ronnie in every sense of the word, including helping run and maintain the family farm. Sherry handled most of the planting and all of the bookkeeping in order to keep the farm running smoothly for 41 years until they both retired in 2012. Sherry loved to travel and was an avid shopper, finding treasures wherever she went over the years. Sherry attended Kaskaskia Church. Ronnie and Sherry were blessed with four children. Lynnette, Shelley, Gary, and Brooke. Their children provided many years of joy while growing up in rural Beecher City. In later years, they were blessed in the form of ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. One of Sherry's greatest pleasures was watching her grandkids play baseball, basketball, softball, and volleyball. She also enjoyed letting the umpire know when he missed a call during the many baseball games she attended in the last few years of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be terribly missed by all who loved her. The sons-in-law would like to add that they could not have had a better mother-in-law than Sherry.

Sherry is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ronnie. Also surviving are her children, Lynnette (Jim) Anderson, Shelley (Jack) Bowlin, Gary Buzzard and Brooke (Jared) Schlanser all of Beecher City. She will be loved and missed by grandchildren, Todd and Bryan Anderson, Josie, Quinton and Hallie Wallace, Quaid, Birgen, Clive and Kase Schlanser, and great-grandchildren, Aiden, Averie and Aria.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Michael Anderson.

The family would like to send a very special thank you to hospice nurses Rachel, Jill, and Kelsey for their tremendous heartfelt care they gave to Sherry.
