Earl Eldon "Hambone" Hamilton, 88, of Louisville, Illinois passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at 2:42 a.m. at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.

Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home of Louisville where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 1. Private family services and burial will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the donors choice and will be received at the funeral home.

Hambone was born October 5, 1929, in Clay County, the son of the late Earl Theodore Hamilton and the late Juanita Cornelia (Lynn) Hamilton. He was self employed as an oil driller, carpenter and farmer. He spent many years as an antique dealer and finisher and loved to go to sales.

Hambone is survived by wife Betty (Brown) Hamilton of Louisville; sons, Mike Hamilton, Greg (wife Deanna) Hamilton, and Kim (wife Shari) Hamilton all of Flora; daughters Ava Siterlet of Springfield and Trudy (husband Dave) Koontz of Flora; 29 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
