Anthony Wayne Davis (39) of Greenup

Anthony Wayne Davis, 39, of Greenup, Illinois passed away Monday, October 23, 2017 at 5:05 p.m. at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, October 27 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1000 US Highway 40 in Casey. Arrangements are under the care of Meyer Funeral Home Bishop Chapel in Greenup. Memorials may be made to the family.

Anthony, better known as Tony, was born November 29, 1977, in Nuremberg, Germany, the son of Orla Cleo and Sandra Dorene (Stewart) Davis Jr. He married Crystal Ormsby December 15, 2001 in Hazel Dell. Tony was a mechanic and was a collector.

Tony is survived by his wife of 16 years, Crystal Davis of Greenup; mother, Sandra Pinkston of Casey; father, Orla Cleo Davis, Jr. of Mattoon; children, Dakota Davis (girfriend Kylie Vitaniemi) of Greenup and Courtney Davis of Greenup; brother, Joseph (wife Terra) Davis of Casey; sisters, Amber Hunt of Mattoon and Jessica Overton of Paris; mother-in-law, Tammy Ormsby of Greenup; father-in-law, Leonard Ormsby of Greenup and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Tony was preceded in death by his sister Meghan Davis and his grandparents, Wanda Stewart, Donald Stewart, Cliff Erwin and Clara and Orla Cleo Davis, Sr.
