Katherine Marie Williams, 91, of rural Neoga passed away at 12:40 A.M. Saturday, October 21, 2017 in the Heartland Christian Village of Neoga.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 25 in the Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga with Pastor David Ducommon of Stewardson, Illinois, officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday with an Eastern Star service at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday conducted by the Toledo Chapter  # 231 O.E.S. of Toledo, Illinois. Burial will be in the Gaskill Cemetery, rural Windsor. Memorials may be made to the Gaskill Chapel United Methodist of Shelby County, Illinois, or to the Heartland Christian Village Auxiliary of Neoga, Illinois. The family suggest casual attire.

Marie was born February 18, 1926, in Shelby County, Illinois the daughter of Wallace H. and Mabel (Friese) Kuster. Marie married Paul L. Williams, September 14, 1946, in Shelbyville, Illinois and Paul passed away September 16, 1995. Marie was a member of the Gaskill Chapel United Methodist Church of rural Windsor, Illinois. She was a housewife and a homemaker, member and Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, T.H.E.O.S. She enjoyed playing bunco, cards, Sunday dinners for family and friends at her home, she enjoyed helping anyone she could and she never met a stranger.

Marie leaves three sons, Danny Williams  (Diana) of rural Stewardson, Illinois, Delbert Williams (Debbie) of Neoga, Illinois and Dennis Williams (Sue) of Stewardson, Illinois; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul Williams; one brother, Calvin Kuster; one sister, Ruth Miller; one great grandson, Michael Williams.
