Lulubelle Winn, 80, of Effingham, IL, went to join the Lord on Monday, August 28, 2017 at Lakeland Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Effingham.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 1 at the First Christian Church in Effingham. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Effingham. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday prior to the service at the church. Services are in the care of Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church or the American Diabetes Association.

Lulubelle was born on November 11, 1936, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Raymond and Avanell (Cornwell) Mascher. Lulubelle enjoyed being a mother and grandmother and was a devoted homemaker. She was an avid fan of NASCAR and the St. Louis Cardinals. She also was a member of the First Christian Church. Lulubelle especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Lullubelle is survived by her children, Rebecca (Jim) Jewell of Effingham, Kathrine (Mike) Brasel of Watson, Karen (Ralph) Nix of Ingraham, Charlotte (David) Ervin of Dieterich, Earlene (Denny) McLain of Effingham, Allen (Cheryl) Loy of Effingham, Debra (Tom) Davis of Watson, and Tami Jo (Roy) Starr of Conway, AR; sister, Joyce Ann (George) Loy of Heartville; and brother, Rick Mascher of Newton. She was also blessed with several grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and special niece and nephew, Jodi Loy of Effingham, and Jeff Loy and family of Watson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Cody Nix; and great-grandson, Anthony Segarra.
