Robert H. Kollmann, 84, of Altamont, died at 7:22 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Lutheran Care Center, Altamont.
A Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 1 at St. Clare Catholic Church, Altamont with Fr. Marek Kasperczuk officiating. Burial will follow at St. Clare Cemetery. Visitation will begin following a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. and conclude at 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont. Memorials may be made to Lutheran Care Center, or St. Clare Cemetery.

Robert was born on Sunday, November 13, 1932 in Damiansville, IL to William and Bina (Moss) Kollmann. He served in the U.S. Army, was a life-long farmer and a member of St. Clare Catholic Church.
He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Kollmann; sisters-in-law, Deronda Kollmann of Watson and Suzanne Kollmann of Altamont; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clarence, Albert and Bill Kollmann; sisters, Pauline Kollmann and Christine Czyzewski.
