Junne Curtis, 87, of Farina, IL died Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Doctors Nursing Home in Salem.

A celebration of Junne's life will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, at the United Methodist Church in Farina with Pastor Rob Dillingham officiating.  Burial will take place at a later date in the Chapel Hill Memorial Garden, Freeport. There will be no public visitation time.  Those attending will gather with the family at the church in time for the service hour.

Memorials may be made to the Donor's choice and will be accepted by the Rankin Funeral Home, entrusted with the families care.

Born October 7, 1929 in Kinmundy, she was the daughter of Charles H. and Nellie (Diss) Blomberg who preceded her in death.
She worked in the family business, Blomberg Trucking.  She was a member of the Farina United Methodist Church.  She loved her family, and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She married Carl Curtis, and he proceeds her in death.

Surviving is her son Mark Curtis and wife Cindy of Freeport, IL, 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Also left to mourn her passing are brothers Charles Blomberg and wife Zola of Farina, Howard Blomberg and wife Pat and Don and wife Coleen all of Kinmundy.  Also, her twin sister, Jean Young of Farina, along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her son Steve Curtis, and her sister Helen Voelker.
