Bonnie Bliss Webster, age 81, of Mason, Illinois passed away at 2:40 a.m. on Monday, July 10, 2017 in Arthur, Illinois.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 14 at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood, Illinois. There will be a one-hour viewing prior to the service. Mark White and Keenan Smith will be officiating. There will be a graveside service at 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 14 at Arthur Cemetery in Arthur, Illinois. Memorials may go to the Effingham Humane Society, Leith Cemetery or donor’s choice.

Bonnie was born on April 28, 2017 in Richland County, the daughter of Raymond Harrison and Mary Knackmuhs. She married James Virgil Smith on October 23, 1954 and he preceded her in death on September 24, 1986. She then married Howard Dean Webster in November 24, 1989 in Edgewood, Illinois. She was a long-time entrepreneur. She enjoyed quilting, antiquing, raising dogs and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her son, Keenan Smith (wife Lorie) of Huffman, Texas; two daughters, Cynthia “Minde” Carter of Arthur, Illinois and Sheryl Perez (husband Trinidad) of Arthur, Illinois; six step-sons, Dean Webster of Edgewood, Illinois, Frank Webster (wife Sarah) of Mason, Illinois, Emery Webster (wife Robin) of Annapolis, Illinois, Paul Webster (wife Deb) of Altamont, Illinois, Matt Webster of Iuka, Illinois and Phillip Webster (wife Shannon) of Effingham, Illinois; 6 step-daughters, Maria McClellan (husband Gary) of Neoga, Illinois, Erma Black (husband Carl) of Omega, Illinois, Ann Hollinshead (husband John) of Dieterich, Illinois, Alta Long (husband Randy) of Tuscola, Illinois, Laura Dunn (husband Brian) of Neoga, Illinois, Rosa Dust (husband Tim) of Watson, Illinois; several very special half brothers and sisters; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 42 step grandchildren and several step great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Harrison; mother, Mary Knakmuhs; two step sons, John and Loren Webster.
