Margarita "Margot" Means (91) of Shumway

Margarita "Margot" Means, 91, of Shumway died Thursday afternoon, April 13, 2017 at her home.

She was born December 4, 1925 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Felipe and Maria (Soto Aquino) Esquilindones. She married John W. Means in August of 1951 and he preceded her in death in 2004.

Margot is survived by her son, Tom and wife, Julie Means of Shumway.

Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham assisted the family with arrangements. No funeral services will be held.
