Louise Mae Bushue, age 100, of Mason, Illinois passed away at 3:20 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017 at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois.

Funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 13 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Edgewood, Illinois. Father Marek Kasperczuk will be officiating. Burial will be at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery in Edgewood, Illinois. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood, Illinois. There will be a Rosary service at 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may go to donor’s choice.

Louise was born on December 4, 1916 in Effingham County, Illinois the daughter of William J. and Effie M. (Warner) Bryant. She married Glen S. Bushue on August 25, 1933 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Edgewood, Illinois. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her three sons, Floyd Bushue (wife Barb) of Dieterich, Illinois, Gary Bushue (wife Connie) of Mason, Illinois, Robert Bushue (wife Pat) of Mason, Illinois; two daughters, Deloris Vogel (companion Ed Schatz) of Farina, Illinois and Mary Jane Blair (companion Jim Kyle) of Mason, Illinois; two sisters, Ada Elmore of Dieterich, Illinois and Jeannette Phillips (husband Ray) of St. Louis, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Rita Bushue of Effingham, Illinois; 21 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Effie Bryant; husband, Glen S. Bushue; son, Leroy Bushue; two brothers, Glen Bryant and Otis Bryant; sister, Hazel Nave; son-in-law, Bruce Vogel; granddaughter, Tonya Gephart; great-grandchild, Josh Jamison.
