Colleen Baughman, 73, of Dieterich died at 1:10pm Monday, February 20, 2017 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM (Noon) - Friday, February 24 at the Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich, Illinois, with Nate Hagen officiating. Burial will be in the Dieterich Village Cemetery in Dieterich, Illinois. Visitation will be held 2 hours before the service. In loving memory of Colleen, memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.

Colleen was born on October 14, 1943, in Tuscola, Illinois, the daughter of Harold Eugene and Melzena (Mayfield). She married Robert Ray Baughman on August 9, 1965, in San Antonio, Texas, and he preceded her in death on June 10, 2013. Colleen was a homemaker and loving mother. She attended Latona Church of Christ for several years. She enjoyed doing crafts and going for walks.
Colleen is survived by: 3 Children - Todd (Susan) Baughman of Mattoon, Illinois, Matt (Stephanie) Baughman of Germantown Hills, Illinois and Jake Baughman of Dieterich, Illinois; 6 Grandchildren – Brandi Chastain of Mattoon, Illinois, Brock Baughman of Memphis, Tennessee, Brett Baughman of Mattoon, Illinois, Alex Baughman of Effingham, Illinois and Hailey and Evan Baughman of Germantown Hill, Illinois; Great Grandchildren – Jaxton and Hunter Chastain of Mattoon, Illinois; Brother – William McDade of Atwood, Illinois; and Mother-in-law - Maxine Chapin of Mattoon, Illinois.
Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Brian Keith Baughman, brother Paul McDade, sisters Rosie Clifton and Delores Swisher and father-in-law Ray Baughman.
