Freda Kirk, 102, of Toledo, Illinois passed away on February 3, 2017 at Heartland Manor in Casey, Illinois.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo is assisting the family.
Freda was born June 1, 1914 to Edward W. Malcom and Carrie Ferguson Malcom. She married Kenneth Kirk in Indiana on September 23, 1933. They had three daughters: Carolyn (George) Barbour, Doris (Nolan) Worms and was preceded in death by daughter Elaine (Tom) Stitt. She is also survived by five granddaughters, nine great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth and one great-great granddaughter.
Freda was a homemaker until her girls were through school. She then enrolled in Utterbacks Business College, graduated and worked for CIPS several years until her retirement. Memorials may be made to the Sumpter Township Library or the Heartland Manor Nursing Center.
