Patsy Ann Hord, 84, of Louisville died at 11:47pm Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 noon at J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville. Visitation will be from 10am to noon Saturday. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery. Memorials to Clay County Home Health Care.

Patsy was born on June 7, 1932, the daughter of the late Richard Albert Cooper and the late Ola Mae (Gray) Cooper. On December 22, 1951, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Wayne Hord, in Hord, IL. She was retired from Peerless factory in Effingham, IL, and was also an in-home caregiver for several years. Patsy loved to camp and spend time with her family.  She was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church.
 
She is survived by her husband Kenneth of Louisville; sons, Douglas W. (Patricia) Hord of Creal Springs, IL, David A. Hord of Hord, IL; daughters, Tracey (Chris) Schoo of Brownstown, IL, Tina (David W.) Young of Flora,  brother, Richard Albert (Ruth) Cooper II of Flora; brother-in-law, Charlie King of Flora; sister, Audra Mae (Glen) Rosenberger of Flora; half-sister, Marjorie (John Sr.) Barnett of Lawrenceville, IL; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Lillian Marie Pyles, Bettie Jo Scott and Mary J. King.
