Mindy Jo Weir, 32, of Altamont died Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Willow Creek Rehabilitation in Belleville.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 12, at 2:00pm at Crain Funeral Home in Newton with Pastor Dee Wolfe officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 2pm Thursday. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Newton. Memorials to the family.

Mindy was born on April 10, 1984 in Crawford County, Illinois the daughter of David R. Weir and Carolyn S. Harris. Mindy was a 2005 graduate of Robinson High School. She worked at The Workshop Teutopolis. Mindy enjoyed country music, riding her bicycle, and playing basketball.
Mindy will be loved and remembered by her mother Carolyn Harris of Altamont, father David Weir of Oblong; sister Heather Waldrop of Robinson; grandmother Ina Maroon of Altamont; two nieces and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Her grandfather Jack Harris and sister Brandie Weir preceded her in death.
