Lola "Pola" Juanita Doolen, age 93, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 12:20 am at Doctor's Nursing and Rehabilitation in Salem, IL.

Arrangements are entrusted to Neal Funeral Home of Kinmundy, IL where the family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday, January 9. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, January 10 at 11:00 am at the funeral home in Kinmundy. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Kinmundy. Memorial donations may be made to the Webster Family Ballpark Softball Complex in Kinmundy and will be received at the funeral home.

Lola was born November 16, 1923 in Yale, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Cecil E. and the late Irene (Alberson) Bailey. Lola was a secretary for Bud Robnett and a member of the Kinmundy First United Methodist Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing, sons Howard L. Robb and wife Kathy of Patoka, Scott Robb and wife Chris of Bloomington, IL, Richard "Rick" Atkins of Orlando, FL; step-sons, Steve Doolen and wife Carla of Vincennes, IN, Bill Doolen of Elliotsville, IN; step-daughter, Terri Moscan and husband John of Terre Haute, IN; brother, Gene Bailey and wife Nancy of Salem; sisters, Lillie Phillips of Kinmundy, Marie Sweeney of New Harmony, IN, Millie Bassett of Danville, IL, Patricia Sagadine of Orlando, FL, Shirley Miller of Kinmundy; nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and eleven step-great grandchildren.

Lola is preceded in death by her parents; first husband Howard L. Robb, second husband Raymond Atkins, third husband Bennie Doolen; daughter Linda Elwood; sisters Frances Gray and Maxine Robb; brothers Lloyd Bailey and Bob Bailey.
