Rheba Joyce White, 80, of rural Altamont, IL, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 8 at Watson Baptist Church in Watson. Burial will be in Watson Cemetery in Watson. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday at Johnson Funeral Home, 1110 N. Fourth Street, Effingham. Memorials may be made in loving memory of Rheba to Watson Baptist Church or HSHS St. Anthony’s Hospice.

Rheba was born on June 20, 1936, in Effingham County, IL, the daughter of Donald and Vera (Welch) Ealy. She married John W. “Wes” White on October 5, 1956 in Watson, IL, and he survives.

Rheba enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was very proud of her family and loved them very much. She was a lifelong member of Watson Baptist Church. She was employed for Fedders Corporation for 14 years.

Rheba is survived by her husband, Wes White of rural Altamont; two daughters, Tammy (Dave) Collins of Watson and Taurina (Tim) Rardin of Parrish, FL; two grandchildren, Blake Rardin and Tommy (fiancée, Amber Puffenbarger) Rardin; one brother, Don (Judy) Ealy of Effingham; brother-in-law, Dean Bushue of Pekin; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Sharon Bushue.
