Jack Thomas Guthrie, age 53 of Louisville, IL, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016, at 9:26 am at his home in Louisville.

Arrangements are entrust to J.W. Neal Funeral Home of Louisville, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Friday, December 30 at the funeral home in Louisville. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oskaloosa Cemetery, Xenia, IL with military rites accorded. Memorial contributions may be made to Clay County Hospice and will be received at the funeral home.

He was born Friday, December 28, 1962 in Springfield, IL, the son of the late John Guthrie and the late Frances Guthrie. On July 5, 1986 he married Ramona Pope at the Louisville Christian Church. Jack was employed by Nova Solutions as a forklift operator and built computer desks. He was a veteran of the Gulf War in the US Navy and a member of the Louisville American Legion. Some of his hobbies included his love for hunting and fishing and collecting LP records.

Survivors include his wife Ramona Guthrie of Louisville; mother-in-law, Dorothy Carter; twin brother, John (Lisa) Guthrie of Normal; sister, Pamela (Don) Feldhake of Effingham; six nieces, one nephew, one great-niece and several aunts and an uncle.
