William Cecil "Jr" Harvey, age 81, of Kinmundy, IL, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016, at Doctors Health and Rehab Center in Salem, IL.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 20 at Sandy Branch Cemetery in Kinmundy. Interment will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cerebral Palsey Foundation or to a charity of your choice and will be received at the funeral home.

Jr. was born June 5, 1935 in Danville, the son of Cecil and Peggy (Rice) Harvey. He was a member of Wesley Methodist Church.

He is survived by his sister, Louise (Jim) Deweese of Philo, IL and brother, John (Darla) harvey of Tulsa, OK. He is also survived by nieces, Gina (Clay) Keller of Philo, IL, Anna Harvey of Stillwater, OK, and Jessica Rolen of Tulsa, OK; nephews, Darren (Sonia) Deweese of Lawrenceville, GA and Justin Rolen of Oklahoma City, OK; great nieces, Courtney Keller of Philo, IL and Miah Deweese of Lawrenceville, GA; great newphews Noah and Evan Deweese of Lawrenceville, GA.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Mary Susan Harvey.

Jr. was born with cerebral palsy and was confined to a wheelchair his entire life. He had a lot of friends and enjoyed spending time with them. During the era of CB's he enjoyed communicating with them through that avenue. His handle was "Juicy Fruit". Reed Garrett and Steve Wilkins often took him fishing and bear hunting which provided him much happiness.
