Anna Marie Flach, 91, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Evergreen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Effingham.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 14 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery in Effingham. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 pm. Sunday at Johnson Funeral Home, 1110 N. Fourth Street, Effingham. Memorials may be made in loving memory of Anna Marie to St. Anthony Schools.

Anna Marie was born on April 21, 1925, in Effingham, IL, the daughter of Leo and Frances (Thoele) Wiedman. She married Richard A. Flach on August 12, 1947 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham. Anna Marie was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and the CDA. After her graduation from St. Anthony High School, she worked at the Effingham Clinic until her marriage.

Anna Marie is survived by her husband, Richard A. Flach of Effingham; sons, Philip (Karen V.) Flach and Mark (Karen S.) Flach, both of Effingham; grandchildren, Aaron Flach and Andrew Flach both of Chicago, Anthony Flach, Brian Flach, and Kevin Flach all of Effingham; and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles Wiedman and Robert Wiedman; sister, Mary Stephens; and grandson, Jason Flach.
