Rosemarie was born on June 9, 1928, in Flint, MI, the daughter of John and Grace (Popilek) Hohn. She sang from the time she was very young and aspired to make it her career but she met the love of her life, Fred. She married Fred J. Nuelle on June 24, 1950 in Flint, MI, and he preceded her in death on February 24, 2009. Rosemarie was a wonderful mother to her five children. Her entire life revolved around music and her family. She touched many lives with her voice. She dedicated her life to Jesus over 35 years ago. This changed her life and she prayed fervently for her children and grandchildren and everyone she encountered. She loved serving in the Children’s Ministry at New Hope Church. She will be greatly missed by many.

Rosemarie is survived by her children, John (Dinah) Nuelle, Chris (Scott) Detwiler, Kay (Les) Inman, and Carol (Wayne) Donsbach, all of Effingham; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her sisters, Joan Dubie of Seattle, WA and Jackie Fancher of Ann Arbor, MI; and brother, Duane Hohn of Biloxi, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred; daughter, Mary Lynn Nowakowski; brother, John Hohn; and sons-in-law, Mark Starwalt and Bruce Nowakowski.
