Cindy (Dunne) Lindsay, 57, of Greenup, Illinois passed away at 3:56 am on Monday, August 29, 2016 at her residence after a courageous 2 ½ year battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease).
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, September 2 at the First Southern Baptist Church in Greenup, Illinois. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday evening at the church. Burial will be in the Aten Cemetery. Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup is assisting the family. Cindy was born on July 14, 1959, the daughter of Jim and Darlene (Davison) Dunne. She is survived by her father Jim Dunne of Greenup; daughters Jaimee (Ross) James of Toledo and Ashley (Levi) Bushur of Bloomington, IL; brothers Brett (Giovanna) Dunne of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Alan Dunn of Suffolk, VA; Kirk (Charlie) Dunne of Los Angeles, CA; half-sisters Adrian (Lee) Ruholl of Toledo and Sarita Dunne of Mattoon; grandchildren Caitlyn, Camden, Rylan and Hayden, Reaghan and Cortland.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Cindy worked as a Financial Counselor at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon.
