Jeffery Wayne Heaton, 58, of rural Toledo, Illinois, passed away at 12:46 P.M. Friday, August 5, 2016, in the Carle Foundation Hospital of Urbana, Illinois.
Jeffery was born April 21, 1958, in Effingham, Illinois the son of Robert "Bob" and Marlene (Poynter) Heaton. He was an Electrician and a former Member of the I.B.E.W. local # 146. He also served in the United States Navy.
Jeffery leaves his parents, Robert "Bob" and Marlene Heaton of rural Toledo, Illinois; two brothers, Terry Heaton and wife Joy of Irving, TX and Randy Heaton and wife Pam of Mattoon, IL; several nieces and nephews.
Jeffery was preceded in death by his grandparents, Orville and Dorothy Heaton and Clarence and Leona Poynter.
Family Graveside Services were held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 9 in the Neoga Memorial Cemetery of Neoga, Illinois, with Pastor Todd Krost of Neoga officiating. The Swengel-O’Dell Funeral Home of Neoga was in charge of arrangements.
