Rita Repp, 78, of Mt. Vernon, MO, formerly of Altamont, died Monday, July 11, 2016 in the SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, MO.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 14 at 11:30am at Union Cemetery in Altamont led by Pastor James Watts of Altamont First Christian Church. Visitation will run from 10am to 11:30am Thursday at Kull Funeral Chapel in Altamont. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association or to the donor's choice.

Rita was born January 15, 1938 in Morley, Missouri, the only child into the family of Durell and Floella Cruse-Foster. Rita married Carl Arthur Repp January 14, 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri. He preceded her in death on February 27, 1986. The Repp family moved to Altamont in the early 70’s where Rita was employed with first the World Color Press which became Quebecor as credit manager and retired after 44 years of devoted service to the company. Besides raising a family and caring for her family with her late husband number of years, she did find time to be active in the Effingham Bowling league. She was also a very active St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. In October of 2007 she sold her home in Altamont and moved to Mt. Vernon to be next to her daughter and family and enjoyed nothing more than being able to take care of her family and watching Cardinal baseball.

She is survived by her: 2-Sons: James David Repp of Altamont, Illinois and his son Aric Montgomery Repp of Clinton, Indiana and Richard Michael Repp of Tucson, Arizona and his son: Chase Michael Mitchell and 2- daughters: Renee (husband, Michael) Luckey of Salem, Illinois and their daughter Leandra Luckey and Tracy Danielle Repp of Lebanon, Tennessee and her children Dravien, Mitchell, Calliou and Kierstin...Daughter: Linda Sue (husband, Robert) Forbes of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and their son: Robert Arthur Forbes Jr of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and 2- daughters: Christian Marie (husband, Joshua) Weibley of Centralia, Illinois and their children Hayden and Kinlee and Bobbi Jo Forbes of St. Elmo, Illinois and her children: Jasmine, DJ, Michael, Gaige and McKinley.

She was preceded in death by her: Parents and Husband and 1-Son: William Joseph Thompson.
