Glen Arthur Cundiff, 71, of Watson, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016, at Flora Gardens Care Center in Flora, IL, from complications due to COPD and pneumonia.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 12 at Johnson Funeral Home, 1110 N. Fourth Street, Effingham, with Pastor Troy Kurtz officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Watson Cemetery, Watson. Memorials may be made to the family.

Glen was born on March 19, 1945, in Sullivan, IL, the son of William and Lottie (Halberg) Cundiff. He married Jacqueline Long on June 21, 1963, in Windsor, IL, and she survives. Glen was employed at World Color Press in Effingham in the shipping department for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping at Stephen A. Forbes State Park. Glen also liked to read science fiction books.

Glen is survived by his wife, Jackie Cundiff of Watson; children, Joe Cundiff of Watson, Samantha (Mike) Followell of Newton, Jason Cundiff of Watson, and John (Jennifer) Cundiff of Sigel; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and brothers, David (Laura) Cundiff of Decatur and Terry Cundiff of Louisville, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Russell Cundiff; and sister, Mary Lane.
