Franklin Leroy “Frankie” Edwards 74, of Janesville, Illinois passed away December 28, 2015 in Mesa, Arizona.

Graveside services will be at 10 Wednesday June 15 at the Janesville Cemetery with Military Rites by Cumberland County Veterans. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo is assisting the family. Frankie was born in Jewett, IL March 8, 1941 to Albion Frank “Lum” and Retha Mae Ingram Edwards. He married Joyce Stewart May 14, 1965. Frankie was a mechanic, welder, water well driller and a heavy equipment operator. He served seven years in the Army National Guard and was a member of the Mattoon Masonic Lodge #260.  

Surviving are his wife; daughters, Patricia Scott of Chandler, AZ, Carol (husband Bryan) Figgins of Lerna and Fran Edwards of Mesa, AZ; four grandchildren, Kelly (husband Phillip) Spencer of Mattoon, Courtney (husband Lucas) Seaman of Mattoon and Breanna and Brittnie Scott of Chandler, AZ; three great-grandsons, Parker Seaman, Rylan and Reed Spencer; one sister, Judy Higgins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
