Albert N. Breeding, 90, of Effingham, IL, passed away at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 9,
2012, at his home.

Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Effingham, with the Rev. Bob Ward officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Effingham. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Johnson Funeral Home, Effingham. Memorials may be made to donor’s choice. Online condolences may be expressed at www.johnsonandsonsfh.com

Albert was born on April 23, 1922 in East Prairie, MO, the son of Walter and Ruby (Morgan) Breeding. He married Esther M. McGill on November 17, 1945. She preceded him in death on July 19, 2010. Albert was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a businessman. Albert was an avid hunter and
fisherman.

Albert is survived by his son, Phil (Joyce) Breeding of Effingham; daughter, Betty (Bo) Leslie of Tampa, FL; brothers, George Breeding of Farmington, MO and Jim Breeding of Cuba, MO; sister, Bessie Daughrtte of Reyno, AR; grandchildren, Bryan Breeding, Bo Leslie, Amy Carr, and Erin Craker; and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; 1 brother; and 2 sisters.
