William J. “Billy” Coleman, 40 of Beecher City, died Saturday evening, January 23, 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 28 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in Oakridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Coleman family.

Billy was born May 16, 1975 in Effingham, the son of Lindell and Sandra K. (Slovick) Coleman. He was employed by Durbin Enterprises in Beecher City. Bill had a passion for hunting, fishing and riding his Harley. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; his closest friends knew how he could light up a room with laughter and good times.

Billy is survived by his mother, Sandra Krueger (friend, Jeff) of Evansville, IN; father, Lindell (Deana) Coleman of Watson; daughter, Jaiden Coleman of Effingham; the love of his life, Kari Mullen and her children, Cameron, Gage and Atlanta of Beecher City; brother, Terry (Brenda) Coleman of Watson; nieces, Taylor Coleman and Tiera (Trevor) Jones; nephews, Tyler Coleman and Jarad Ruholl.

Billy was preceded in death by his son, Justice Levi Coleman; grandparents, Joe Slovick, Connie and Joe Hoelscher, Leonard and Beatrice Coleman.
