Johnie D. Logan, 74 of Effingham, passed away at 9:50 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 28, at Pagel Funeral Home in Edgewood, with a one hour viewing prior to the service. Kevin Knierim will be officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, at Pagel Funeral Home in Edgewood, Illinois. Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery.

Johnie was born on June 4, 1941 in Larkinsburg Township, Illinois to James and Goldie (Limes) Logan. He married Deanna L. Hufnagel on February 15, 2006 in Effingham, Illinois. Johnie was an owner/operator of Logan's TV & Appliances for 32 years. He loved his horses and dogs. He also enjoyed socializing with friends.

He is survived by his wife, Deanna Logan of Effingham, Illinois; two sons, Steve Logan (wife Tina) of Murphysboro, Illinois, Mike Logan (wife Patti) of Altamont, Illinois; two daughters, Nicole Hilton (husband Zack) of Effingham, Illinois, Amy Mixco (husband Anthony) of Seattle, Washington; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Johnie was preceded in death by his parents, James and Goldie Logan; one brother, Joy Dean Logan and one sister, Revalle.
